Top Five favorite Conditioners

Hey lovelyosities,
Over the years I've probably tried hundreds of conditioners. Most of them worked fine, but only a few of them were great go to conditioners. Here are my top five.

5. Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner
This conditioner is perfect for everyday use. It's great for people with severely dry/damaged, to normal or healthy hair. The product is blue, creamy, and has a tropical floral smell. I recommend applying a dime size amount of conditioner all over your hair for an extra boost of hydration, and to keep its scent in your hair.

4. Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Conditioner

Pantene Pro-V - Ice-Shine-Conditioner
The experience I had with this conditioner was interesting to say the least. A few months ago on a Saturday, I had decided to try a DIY hot oil treatment for my hair. All you have to do is saturate your hair with the oil of your choice, and sit under a hooded dryer with a shower cap around your head for about 30 minutes. Sounds easy enough right? Well on that day I decided to pour a mixture of caster oil and olive oil together in a bottle with a nozzle so I could apply it directly to my hair without being too messy. So I put my cap on and sat under my dryer for 30 minutes. When I was done I was super excited to feel my soft, healthy hair, but what did I feel when I took that cap off? A big, crunchy pile of mess! I couldn't figure out what I did wrong. I thought of every possible explanation. Did I apply the oils right? Did I stay under the dryer for too long? It wasn't until I went into the kitchen ( the area where I mixed the oils in a bottle), and realized the mistake I had made. I had accidentally put vegetable oil in the bottle instead of my caster oil! Yeah... this is one of those moments where you ask yourself "how could I have mistaken vegetable oil for caster oil?" After that all I could think about was getting the nasty, epic fail out of my hair. I didn't want to use shampoo because I had shampooed my hair before I had applied the "treatment" and I knew shampooing my hair twice in less than two hours would turn my hair into straw. That's when I decided to wash out the vegetable oil with this conditioner. It was my first time using the conditioner and I was blown away at how well it took out the oil. The crunch was completely gone, and I couldn't believe how soft my hair was. I would recommend it to anyone with hair that needs a miracle.

3. Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Conditioner

Garnier Fructis Haircare Fortifying Cream Conditioner, Sleek & Shine
With all the styles you can create with heat these days, the simple pin straight hairstyle seems to be the most popular. That's just because straightening your hair is pretty much goof-proof (unlike using a curling iron to curl your hair, which can create funny creases). It looks nice when it's down or it can look polished in a ponytail, and almost nobody in the world has naturally straight hair.  Most people have at least some waviness to their hair. But using heat on your hair comes with consequences like drying it out, and getting split ends. But with this conditioner, you can straighten your hair and get less split ends and less dryness. So how does it work? The conditioner helps loosen curl or the wave pattern in your hair. It also makes the hair less likely to get frizzy in humidity. This means you can straighten your hair less during humid times, and you can use a lower heat setting on your flat iron, and that means healthier hair. I would recommend it to anyone who loves their stick straight 'do.

2. Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves Conditioner

Now this conditioner does the exact opposite of what the Sleek and Shine conditioner does. This actually enhances and defines the waves in your hair. It's great for scrunching hair to get the "effortless beachy" look. It's also great when you only have 15 minutes in the morning to do your hair. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to use less heat, but still wants to look cute :).

1. Maxi Essentials On Demand Conditioner

Now this conditioner by far is the best of the best. Why? Because no matter how tangled, or how dry your hair is. Every time you use this conditioner your hair will feel so soft, so silky and with the sweet vanilla scent, your hair will smell good enough to eat. I would recommend it to anyone who wants tangle free, shiny hair when they step out of the shower.

Well there you have it, the top five best conditioners I've ever tried. Think you've tried better? Tell me what conditioner you think I should have added to my list. By for now :).
