The Curse of the Klondike Bar

Hey Fabulosities,
Today is finally the official last day of school and I couldn't be happier. Now I can focus on having fun with friends, playing sports, finally go on that diet that I've been planning to do for months, and (of course) making a wonderful blog for my fabulous followers! I found out that it wasn't the batteries in my flip that weren't working, there is a little spring that is missing where the batteries should be. I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet. I have to find my warranty and make sure it hasn't expired. Right now there is really no other way I can take pictures. My Itouch's camera is low quality so I can use that, I'm currently using my Dad's old laptop because my laptop is being fixed. (It would smoke up every time I tried to charge it.), My old laptop had a web cam, this one doesn't. my droid's picture quality is good but guess what? My phone isn't working either! I just got it and apparently when they were transferring contacts and pictures, they messed up the memory card in the process. So I didn't get any of my contacts or pictures and they didn't even give me a new memory card! My mom has a camera, but believe it or not, she dropped it in her bathtub last week! It's like the universe is telling me not to take any pictures, and I think I know what's to blame... The Klondike bars. It all started when I was watching TV (imagine my puzzled face morphing into the memory). I remember wanting to eat something sweet all day. My mom tries to keep both of us away from junk food, so it's rarely in our home. I remember wanting something sweet so bad and I'm not sure why. Then I remembered that the Ice cream Man (Childish much Amber?)  drives by my block every once in a while, so I was hoping he would come. As soon as that thought came into my mind, there it was. The Klondike commercial. The song sang "what would do-o-o for a Klondike bar?" I never understood this slogan so I yelled at the TV. "WHAT WOULD I DO FOR A KLONDIKE BAR? I WOULD GO TO THE STORE AND BUY ONE! AND I WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE!" Satisfied with myself I flipped the channel. But something strange happened. My TV just suddenly shut off. And I swear it got dark outside. No matter what I tried the TV would just not come on. I tried the one in the living room. It worked but 2 minutes later the same thing happened to that TV. At this point I was pretty freaked out. I tried using the TV in my mom's room, but that TV wouldn't even turn on. It was only 5 pm and it seemed so dark outside my window. 30 minutes later I tried turning on the TV and it worked. But what was playing? A Klondike bar commercial! It wasn't just any part of the commercial nooooo, it was the dang theme song! "what would you do-o-o for a Klondike bar?" I flipped the channel and the same commercial was playing and of course I was right on time to hear the same mind-numbing song. And what happened when I flipped the next channel? you guessed it! The same commercial and that same song! At this point the TV shuts off again and I can't turn it back on. This all happens when my mom is at work so I'm home alone. It seamed like all of my friends were busy because I texted so many of them and none of them responded. So finally my mom gets home at 8 PM and she comes home with a bag of groceries. I tell her the TV isn't working, but when she tries to turn it on, it works immediately. She asked me to put away the groceries while she walked our dog. So as I'm putting them away I see the usual. Coffee beans, water bottles, vegetables and what-not. But what do you think I saw as the bottom of the bag? YES! You guessed it! Oreo flavored Klondike bars! I'm not even kidding. (This is one of those moments where I wish i had my flip- camera to show you the proof) At this point I think I have been cursed by Klondike bars, and I'm kind of scared to go to sleep. I feel like Freddy Krueger is going to pop out of no where in my dreams and kill me with a Klondike bar. On that note, I hope you guys have a good night's sleep. Bye for now :)

Lesson of the day: Don't talk about Klondike bars when the commercial is playing. (Especially during the theme song!
